Respiratory
Infections |
| |
Lizards which are having trouble
breating or appear to have a cold usually have
a case of respiratory infection.Respiratory infections
are generally caused by subpar living conditions
including low temperature or high humidity. If
the lizards enclosure is close to a window the
lizard may be getting a draft from the incoming
air.
When a lizard gets a respiratory infection it
is likely that the lizard will require veterinarian
attention and some sort of antibiotics to cure
the infection. Also, since lizards are quite good
at hiding their sicknesses the infection will
likely have had a good amount of time to progress
so it is important to act fast.
