Mouth Rot

One of the most devastating bacterial infections that a lizard can become infected with is Mouth Rot. Sub-par living conditions and injury to the mouth and snout area of a lizard are both major factors to Mouth Rot occuring in a lizard.

As like most diseases with lizards it is important to seek veternarian advice immediately if you notice any signs of disease in your lizard. Mouth Rot disease is particularly important to discover early because it is so dangerous and often fatal to lizards.
